Venezuela: Jorge Arreaza, urged his Chilean counterpart Andrés Allamand to review the situation
The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, urged his Chilean counterpart Andrés Allamand to review the situation of persecution of Mapuche leaders in his country before issuing an opinion on the opposition leader of Popular Will Freddy Guevara, who occupied the embassy Chilean for 2 years and led 4 months of violent protests that left hundreds of Venezuelan victims.
The information was offered by the diplomat through a message on Twitter, in response to a tweet posted by the Chilean Foreign Minister Allamand, in which he shared the gratitude that the opposition leader Guevara gave him for his stay at the Chilean embassy.
It should be remembered that Guevara through social networks urged a sector of the population in 2017 to protests against the national government, in which at least 120 people died, claiming not to become one more hostage of the government of President Nicolás Maduro, hours after the ANC ratified the withdrawal of his parliamentary immunity at that time. In another message posted by Foreign Minister Arreaza, he highlighted how the western media have presented the pardoned as victims, suffered and persecuted.
Arreaza said, the media victimization of the pardoned is worthy of a doctorate in psychology and communication. They chose violence, coups, assassinations, destabilization, pain and death.
