US is Considering introducing a visa ban on Chinese Communist Party members and family members....

The New York Times reported in July that the United States is considering introducing a visa ban on Chinese Communist Party members and family members of the Chinese Communist Party. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also confirmed the relevant news, saying that the State Department is advancing related matters under the instructions of President Trump. policy. Although there was no news about the relevant policies in the media later, Zheng Cunzhu, the leader of the June 4th student movement who had moved to Los Angeles, told the Hong Kong "Apple News" yesterday (26) that a Chinese female client who immigrated to the United States in his early years served him. The Global Law Firm of China called for inquiries, claiming that his father, a CCP member, hadn’t been approved for a “relative immigration” application. On the afternoon of the 17th of this month, his father held a 10-year tourist visa and wanted to visit her in the United States. He was stopped at Detroit Airport and the original plane was repatriated to China, and at the same time stamped on the passport and cancelled its related visa.

Zheng Cunzhu, who has worked as an immigration consultant for a US law firm for 15 years, said that when he received a request from a female client, the other party said that when his father applied for "dependent immigration", he had interviewed at the US Consulate in Guangzhou and honestly reported that he was a "Chinese Communist Party member". "After that, there was no result. Zheng Cunzhu suggested that the other party first go to the National Visa Center to check the progress of her father's immigrant visa. The female client replied that the result of the updated application on September 17 this year was: "US immigration officials have ruled and rejected the father. You can provide supplementary documents for your immigrant visa application. (In this way) the application will be judged one more time.” Zheng Cunzhu then sent a message to the female client: “(To persuade father) to quit the party quickly,” that is, if he wants to immigrate to the United States, Don't stay with the Chinese Communist Party.

Later, the female customer told Zheng Cunzhu that her father was stopped while visiting her on a tourist visa on the 17th of this month. US Customs interrogated him for a long time and told him that he could not enter. It turned out that her father was retired cadres of the Communist Party cannot emigrate as Communist Party members.

Zheng Cunzhu said, the client has a pension because he considers the benefits of retirement... He may have worked for a long time, so there is no way to withdraw from the Communist Party. If he voluntarily withdraws from the Communist Party, those retirement benefits will be gone. He pointed out that he applied to the United States in the past. Immigration has an unclear stipulation that if the applicant is a member of the Communist Party or has not resigned for 2 years, he cannot immigrate to the United States.

As for the father of the female client who has "dual status", he holds a 10-year U.S. tourist visa and is also applying for a dependent visa to immigrate to the United States. Zheng Cunzhu said, If you are a Communist Party member and want to immigrate to the United States, the law requires He is not allowed, he is not allowed to enter the United States, he is a member of the Communist Party, so he was stopped by customs officers at the airport. That afternoon, the female customer’s father was deported to China by the original plane, and his original tourist visa was cancelled. After the US Customs stamps the passport which violates the US immigration law, it will be difficult to apply for a visa in the future (unlike Taiwanese, Chinese people need a visa to enter the United States) or want to immigrate to the United States.

Zheng Cunzhu said that the U.S. immigration policy has always rejected Communist Party members from immigrating to the local area, but for more than a decade, it has always adopted a more tolerant policy to allow Chinese people to enter the Western world. This is one of the Chinese Communists who want Western values to change policy; however, the United States has recently changed its policy towards the CCP and strictly controlled its members. He bluntly stated that Chinese students visas to the United States have also been gradually tightened: After Chinese students arrive in the United States, they frequently steal high-end technology from the United States and Western society, and some even act as Chinese spies to steal technology. For sensitive industries and majors, foreign students Visas have also become a little stricter.

Zheng Cunzhu gave an example. Recently, there has been a phenomenon that Chinese immigrants and students studying in the United States have also withdrawn from the Communist Party and go through the procedures for withdrawing from the Communist Party through relevant institutions. For example, they have publicly stated that they have (will) withdrawn from the Communist Party through the newspaper. The status of the employee does not comply with US immigration policy.

Zheng Cunzhu also noticed that the Los Angeles Overseas Chinese Association will hold a large-scale celebration together with the Chinese Consulate in the United States every year before October 1st (Chinese National Day). However, this year I do not know whether it is the relationship between Wuhan pneumonia or the tightening of the US The policy is too strong, and there is still no news of any celebration.

Zheng Cunzhu believes that this case of deportation shows that the United States has begun to implement a policy of prohibiting the entry of CCP members. CCP members may face the risk of being deported at the airport whether they want to immigrate, visit relatives, or travel.

The New York Times said that the people familiar with the matter on July 15 as saying that the Trump administration is considering banning CCP members and their families from entering the United States. Secretary of State Pompeo responded when asked about this, we are looking for the right way. We need to make sure that this way reflects the traditional American values.

At a canvassing conference in Missouri in November 2018, Trump pointed out that a large number of pregnant women in China rushed to the United States to give birth, and then waited to immigrate the entire family to the United States. He even ridiculed Xi Jinping, whose entire family is foreigners and high-ranking Chinese officials. There are foreign dictators who are thinking about war with the United States while using birthright citizenship. Trump pointed out to his supporters that the largest number of pregnant women who come to the United States to give birth are not from Latin American countries, but from China. You may be surprised." He went on to say, Think about it. You are the enemy of our country. You are a general who wants to go to war. You are a "dictator who hates us and wants to deal with us but these dictators let their wives have children in the United States. Congratulations, your children are now Americans. Some people think this Is it reasonable?" Trump also pointed out that the Chinese abused the birthright of the United States, and even developed the "birth tourism industry" to give birth to the United States, triggering a chain of Chinese family immigrants to the United States.

Currently, the US authorities have not announced how many members of the Chinese Communist Party have been barred from entering the country. According to internal party statistics released by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of China on June 30, as of the end of 2019, the total number of party members of the Chinese Communist Party was 91.914 million, an increase of 1.32 million over the previous year.
