UAE announces urgent relief for those affected by the floods in Pakistan
In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and under the direct follow up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs President of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation ... The Foundation will implement urgent relief for those affected by the floods in southern Pakistan. According to the initial study, the number of beneficiaries is expected to reach about 75,000 people in the affected areas.
This urgent assistance by the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation comes to extend a helping hand and translate the humanitarian role of the United Arab Emirates and the continuation of its relief and development initiatives in many brotherly and friendly countries.
An official source at the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation said that the Foundation, under the direction of our wise leadership, is coordinating with our embassy in Pakistan in order to develop a plan to distribute and deliver aid to the affected people as soon as possible. In the regions of the southern province of Sindh, due to the floods, which flooded parts of the region, especially the cities and towns near the course of the Indus River.
