There are a thousand deaths from the pandemic in Argentina

According to the authorities of the Ministry of Health , the total of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Argentina is 41,204 of which 1,000 died. Since the last report on Saturday, there have been eight new deaths. Among the eight new deceased are five men, two 83 and 77 years old, residing in the province of Buenos Aires, two of 63 and 58 years old, residents in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA), one of 82 years, resident in the province of Río Negro; and three women, two 94 and 84 years old, residing in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA); and one of 65 years, resident in the province of Buenos Aires.


With 1,634 new infected, the total number of cases is 41,204. Since the epidemic began, 279,672 tests have been carried out throughout the country, 6,443 tests in the last 24 hours, explained the Undersecretary of Health Strategies, Alejandro Costa giving the daily report accompanied by the Secretary of Access to Health, Carla Vizzotti and Laura Barcelona, Coordinator of Appropriate Use of Antimicrobials.

Vizzotti said, 95% of the cases detected yesterday correspond to the AMBA, we continue with the area with the highest intensity of community transmission in this urban agglomerate.
The secretary of Access to Health said, there are 381 patients in intensive care and 12,728 have already been discharged almost 31 percent of the total cases.

On Saturday 6,443 new samples were made and since the start of the outbreak 279,672 diagnostic tests were carried out for this disease which is equivalent to 6,163.3 samples per million inhabitants. The number of cases discarded until Saturday is 189,801 (by laboratory and by clinical / epidemiological criteria). The main age groups affected by the registered cases correspond to people between 20 and 59 years of age, the average age being 36 years.
