Cuba: The US imposes new measures against Russia, Iran, China, Cuba and Venezuela
Foreign Minister and member of the Party's Political Bureau, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, when condemning another US sanction. against the Island, after including it in the spurious list of States sponsoring terrorism said, We reject the new politically motivated measures imposed by the Trump regime against Cuba. Each coercive measure of your Government is especially aimed at strangling the Cuban economy and distancing the prospects of a respectful relationship between our countries. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said, the Office of Industry and Security of the US Department of Commerce imposed new controls on any US technology and specific activities of US individuals who may be supporting military intelligence activities in China, Cuba, Russia, Iran and Venezuela, claiming that they are nations that support terrorism. This new measure, less than a week after Trump's departure from the White House, seeks to deny any possibility of acquiring equipment, products, and components of any technological novelty, and penalize a person or company willing to provide it.
