The leave of the educational institution was extended till October 3
Due to the global epidemic covid-19, the ongoing holidays of the country's educational institutions have been extended till October 3. However, Qawmi Madrasa will be out of this holiday. Mohammad Abul Khair, public relations officer of the education ministry, said this on Thursday (August 26).
The decision was taken by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education through mutual discussions, a public relations officer of the Ministry of Education. According to the previous announcement, the educational institution was closed till August 31. However, it has been decided to open Qawmi Madrasa on August 24.
Classes have been broadcast on TV at the primary and secondary levels since March 18 due to the closure of educational institutions due to the covid-19. And educational institutions are conducting online classes at higher secondary and higher education levels.
Due to the epidemic, it has been decided not to take the Primary and Ibtedayi Education Completion (PEC) examination this year. However, the school will be evaluated with the annual examination. For this reason, the students of the fifth grade will not get any scholarship. However, the stipend will continue. The fifth and eighth final exams were scheduled for November.
In this situation, the two ministries are moving forward with different options for taking examinations at primary and secondary level.
