Prime Minister of New Zealand approves past cannabis use at party leader debate before election
On the 30th in New Zealand , where the general election is coming up on October 17, a debate was held between Labor Party leader Ardan and National Party leader Collins, and there was one act in which Mr. Ardan approved past cannabis use. The use of medical cannabis is permitted in New Zealand. It is said that many people have used cannabis for taste purposes, and it is not uncommon for politicians to admit that they have used it.
At the same time as the general election, a referendum will be held asking whether to legalize the use of cannabis as a luxury item, and the moderator asked them about the history of cannabis use at a debate. Applause occurred when Mr. Ardan replied, "Yes, long ago." Collins replied, "No."
