Peru: Martín Vizcarra would have to analyze whether it is feasible to run for Congress
Former President of the Republic Martín Vizcarra indicated that he would have to study the possibility of running for Congress and whether or not it is legally feasible if he receives an invitation from a political party.
He said, I have not had any meeting, I would have to analyze it if it is feasible or not on the legal issue. It is an issue that we have not analyzed, I have not received any invitation.
At another point, he commented that two days before the presidential vacancy against him he had a communication with the leader of the Alliance for Progress, César Acuña.
“He questioned that he ratified me that he would vote against the vacancy for the governance of the country. His change of opinion is not a betrayal of the president but of Peru.
The ex-president considered that the current ministerial cabinet is not close to the feelings of the population, which due to the statements that have been heard call to aggravate the situation.
He criticized that the first thing the Minister of Justice does is want to change the attorney general, it worries. That the premier says that Congress can change the Constitutional Court at this time is worrying. Manuel Merino should listen to the public.
