The former minister and later secretary of national culture during the government of Mauricio Macri, Pablo Avelluto affirmed this Saturday that if he made a self-criticism regarding his performance in the public service. It is not having done more to close the agency state news agency Télam and Public TV which he described as two clubs of authoritarian and incompetent militants. Avelluto thus responded to the controversy that arose after the statements of Gustavo López the vice president of the National Communications Authority who pointed out the need to control the contents of the news portals.

Self-criticism not having done more to close the Télam Agency and Public TV two clubs of very expensive and incompetent authoritarian militants. The undemocratic bias of the person who acts as a journalist exceeds that of the former journalist-turned-official Avelluto launched from his account. On twitter. López had focused on the fact that the portals should be held responsible for their publications if the content contained false news. While López was giving the interview to a mobile on Public TV the news station said, they will regulate the operation of internet portals.

However, the government quickly denied them. The president of ENaCom, Claudio Ambrosini did it through a statement and there he assured that the body is not working on any regulation related to the content circulating on networks or platforms. Obviously, there was an error in interpretation by the media the statement warns in relation to the base of the Public TV newscast. The same thing was done shortly afterwards by López who from his account on the social network Twitter specified that ENaCom does not regulate content on the #Internet as it was misinterpreted in the socket of a TV program during an interview with me.

López himself had already explicitly raised the issue a few days before when he was in Tierra del Fuego. López said. in an interview with Radio Universidad, radio and television in any of their formats have a lot of regulation but portals do not. This will have to be regulated so that there is a person in charge with CUIT or CUIL who will take charge in case of transgressing any norm. This does not mean that you get into the content because there is no prior censorship. But the laws indicate that there are subsequent responsibilities for that content. Today these portals that do not have owners or any regulation are going to have to change.
