New Zealand, the Islamic veil appears in police uniforms

The New Zealand police introduced the hijab, the traditional Muslim veil in uniforms to encourage Muslim women to join, according to the BBC reports.

The parliament that emerged from the avalanche victory in the last elections of the Labor party led by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has been defined as the most inclusive in the world for the presence of women, representatives of the LGBTQ community and minorities.
The first veiled policewoman will be Constable Zeena Ali, who was also the one who triggered the trial with her request to introduce the hijab in uniforms.
She said, i realized that it takes more Muslims in the police. The woman was born in Fiji, moved to New Zealand as a child and decided to become an agent after the Christchurch attacks, where white supremacist Brenton Tarrant slaughtered 51 Muslims.
