Mike Pompeo assured that China seeks to undermine the democracy of the United States and attack
This Thursday Mike Pompeo again pointed out against Chinese influence in the United States and highlighted the work that President Donald Trump has been doing to counteract the interference of the Asian giant for four decades. During an interview with WBS radio in Atlanta, the US Secretary of State assured that China seeks to subvert the democracy of the United States and undermine its way of life.
The head of North American diplomacy said, we have to face the fact that Chinese money is being used to subvert our democracy, to undermine our way of life, and we should just say that it is unacceptable.
Along these lines, he indicated that the Chinese Communist Party has full control, not only over companies that try to invest in North American soil but also over different institutions such as the Confucius Institute whose objective is to promote the Chinese language and culture and to support the teaching of that language throughout the world.
Pompeo said that we have the Chinese Communist Party under the veil of these Confucius Institutes impacting our children putting their propaganda on top of our children and We will find another way to finance our schools. Taking money from the Chinese Communist Party to keep our schools afloat is an unacceptable compromise.
The Secretary of State warned that the interference of the Chinese regime dates back 40 years. The risk of the Chinese Communist Party is real. For 40 years and this is not political, not even remotely with Republican Presidents, Republican Congresses, Democrats, it made no difference we knelt. We allowed the Chinese Communist Party to trample us. In this regard, he assured that President Trump is working to straighten the ship. This will be good for American jobs and for American security.
