Kyrgyzstan: The Ministry of the Interior, not knowing where the President is

The Kyrgyz Interior Ministry said it is not clear where President Sooronbay Jeenbekov is, and will not hold a search.

Meanwhile, according to the Kyrzystan Presidential Office, Mr. Jeenbekov is currently in the capital, Bishkek.

At the same time, the Kyrzystan border force announced it would not allow any high-ranking officials to leave the country. The Kyrgyz parliament then voted and approved the appointment of Sadyr Japarov as Boronov's successor. The election agency of this country also decided to cancel the results of the parliamentary elections announced on Sunday (October 4).
