Israel will be hit by 2,000 missiles per day
Commander of the Regional Command of the Israeli Armed Forces (IDF), Major General Uri Gordin warned Israel could be hit by 2,000 rockets and missiles per day in a war with Hezbollah in the future. This was conveyed at the B'Sheva Conference in Jerusalem.
Gordin said that about 2,000 rockets and missiles would be fired at Israel every day. It will be a major challenge for Israel's military and civil defense. Our enemies on different fronts must know that if necessary we will activate a military force which has never been seen before. Israel's enemies should know Israel's armed forces are tough and have proven this in the past. They can't beat us on the battlefield, so try to move to the second front and those are our homes and cities.
Israel believes Hezbollah roughly has about 150,000 rockets and missiles. Some of them are able to hit targets located on Israeli territory.
