Israel clarifies the significance of the two blue lines in its flag

The Israel in Arabic page of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs sparked controversy on Twitter, after it published a video clip explaining the meanings and symbols of the Israeli flag in the face of what it called myths. According to the Israeli spokesperson in the video, the six-pointed star of David is in the middle of the Israeli flag. The six pointed star was an Islamic symbol according to archaeological discoveries and Muslims consider it a symbol in the seal of King Solomon. Zionism adopted the six-pointed star as a symbol for it in the 19th century. Contrary to what the enemies of peace claim, that it represents the emptiness of the world from people to be the elite of the Jews.

Regarding the most controversial symbol, which is the two horizontal lines in the Israeli flag, the spokeswoman explained that these two parallel lines are blue, suggestive of the Jewish prayer sash, which follows, of course, this refutes the claim of opportunists who seek to sow discord and hatred to achieve their goals that the two lines represent the greater borders of Israel and it is a stirring slogan not Reality is related and the blue color indicates the color of the sky in Judaism and kings used to wear light blue in ancient times. As you know, the Jewish religion calls for the love of man, as it says in the Bible: I love for your brother what you love for yourself.' So how then does he call on the Jews to empty the earth of its inhabitants?

Many Arabs and Palestinians believe that the two horizontal lines in the Israeli flag symbolize the borders of the so called Greater Israel, which extends from the Euphrates River in Iraq in the east to the Nile River in Egypt in the west. These borders include all the lands between the two rivers, including Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine and areas in Iraq and in northern Saudi Arabia up to the Nile in Egypt.

The authors of this narration infer from what was mentioned in the Torah holy to the Jews, as in Genesis 15: 18-21, where the covenant of God with Abraham is mentioned 18, On that day God made a covenant with Abram, saying, I will give to his offspring. The Great, the Euphrates River. 19 The land of the Qaynites and the Qanazites, and the Qadmonites, 20 and the Hittites, and the Peres, and the Raphaeans, 21 and the Amorites and the Amorites and the Amorites.

In a statement by the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, he warns the Arabs against establishing Greater Israel on the ruins of their countries, explaining the borders of that kingdom
