Indian and Chinese soldiers clashed again at the border

According to India Today , the latest clash occurred in the Naku La area in the Indian state of Sikkim on January 20. Chinese soldiers were accused of trying to cross the line, but were stopped by Indian soldiers.
The Chinese side had 20 soldiers injured while India had 4 wounded. The Indian Army announced on January 25, that it was a small encounter and resolved by the command of the two sides according to the established protocol. The Indian military urges the media not to exaggerate the information.
Information about the clash was released just a day after the two countries military talks for the ninth time to reduce tensions at the border in the Ladakh region.
Naku La is a mountainous area connecting the state of Sikkim with the Tibetan region of China . This is one of the locations where there has been a clash between soldiers of the two countries in recent times.
On September 9, 2020, about 150 Indian and Chinese soldiers clashed at Naku La, injuring at least 10 people on both sides. By June 2020, soldiers from both sides had a bloody scuffle in the Galwan area in Ladakh, killing 20 Indian soldiers. The Chinese side was also believed to have suffered casualties but did not disclose it.
