Government of Bolivia analyzes economic strategy, health and education
The president of Bolivia, Luis Arce, inaugurated today the first expanded cabinet of the executive body to analyze the national strategy for education, economic reactivation and confrontation with the Covid-19 pandemic this year. Arce, together with Vice President David Choquehuanca, highlighted the importance of the exchange of ideas between ministers, vice ministers, directors and managers of state institutions and companies 'to restore trust to the people, health and education', at the meeting that takes place Chuquiago Marka Fairground in La Paz. He recalled that during the de facto government there was a dramatic deterioration of the economy, Bolivians were helpless and, just over two months after taking office, he urged public institutions to continue the neoliberal dismantling, cited by the Bolivian Agency for Information. "They cannot exclusively blame the coronavirus issue for the slowdown that the economy and Bolivians' pockets have felt for bad political decisions," he emphasized. On the other hand, the Bolivian president announced the analysis of issues such as the reduction of 20 to 30 percent to the budgets of the institutions due to the mismanagement of the coup authorities from November 2019 until the same month of 2020.
