Google workers trade union was formed
Google's flagship company Alphabet has reportedly formed a trade union. The union was formed by about 200 Google employees in the United States. The New York Times reported. The new union is called the 'Alphabet Workers' Union'. The union aims to prevent fair wages, discrimination and retaliation in the workplace, and to ensure a safe working environment. According to union representitives, the new union is the first of its kind in the world. Union cards have so far been issued to 226 Google employees. Google, meanwhile, has not commented on the union formation.
