Colombia's external debt reached US $ 150,189 million in July, 53.6% of GDP

The Issuer has just updated the figures for Colombia's external debt, the first point in the report corresponds to the total of this amount, which in July closed with an accumulated US $ 150,189 million, only counting the one that is public ended at US $ 83,068 million (US $ 744 million in the short term and US $ 82,324 million in the long term).
Regarding private debt, the total as of July is US $ 67,121 million, of which US $ 23,353 million are negotiated in the short term and US $ 43,768 million in the long term.
Regarding the equivalent of this figure to Colombia's GDP, the Banco de la República detailed that in July the total amount is 53.6% as a percentage of the national economy. Of this figure, the pending obligations of the State are 29.6% of GDP and 23.9% private.
Finally, when comparing the debt of Colombia in July, against that of June, there was a growth of 2.4%.
So far this year, for its part, this has been up 7.2%, taking into account that in January it was at US $ 140,039 million.
