Colombia: EPM will sue Hidroituango contractors for $ 9.9 billion after finalizing the conciliation
The mayor of Medellín, Daniel Quintero Calle, assured that the conciliation process with Hidroituango contractors ended without success. For this reason, EPM will advance the lawsuit for 9.9 billion pesos against the Brazilian company Camargo Correa and the national companies Conconcreto, Coninsa-Ramón H, Integral-Solingral and Ingetec-Sedic.

This decision was made after the conciliation process with the contractors ended unsuccessfully in the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation. Mayor Quintero Calle highlighted the importance of the conciliation process that EPM began last August with the intention of recovering 9.9 billion pesos from citizens and moving Hidroituango forward without further delay.
The mayor congratulated EPM for its courage and responsibility, in following the necessary legal processes to recover these resources. In addition, he said that not only EPM and its future are being defended, but the resources of all Colombians, Antioqueños and citizens of Medellín.
