China issued guidelines regarding coverage of Taiwan, India said here media is independent


 

India said on Thursday the guidelines issued for the Indian media by the Chinese embassy here, that there is independent media in the country. In fact, the Chinese embassy issued guidelines before Taiwan's national day, saying that the Indian media should not violate India's one China policy.


Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said in a press conference, India has independent media, reporting on its own. Shrivastava said this when asked about the letter sent to reporters by the Chinese Embassy. In a letter sent to Indian journalists, the Chinese embassy has asked to 'respect China's policy'.


According to the news agency PTI, this letter, written on October 7, states that all countries having diplomatic relations with China should fully honor their commitment to 'One China Policy which has been India's long standing . The official stance issued. We hope that the Indian media will adopt the Indian government's stand on the Taiwanese question and will not violate the principle of one China.


Taiwan's National Day is on 10 October. Explain that China has been accused of infringing on Taiwan's rights and wants to rule it out forcibly.
