Brazil: Paes leads dispute with the City of Rio with 30% and Crivella has 12%

Former Rio Mayor Eduardo Paes (DEM) is the leader in voting intentions in the dispute for the City of Rio de Janeiro with 30% of the intentions according to data released by Ibope on the night of this Thursday. Candidate for re-election and licensed bishop of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, the current mayor Marcelo Crivella (Republicans) appears in 2nd place, with 12% of the respondents' responses to the institute. Then, the delegate Martha Rocha (PDT) appears with 8%. Benedita da Silva (PT) has 7% of the answers. The survey, which was commissioned by TV Globo and the newspaper O Estado de São Paulo, has a margin of error of three percentage points more or less. Technically, Martha and Benedita are tied. According to Ibope, the percentages remained in relation to the previous survey
The remaining candidates present a maximum of 3% of citations each. Renata Souza (PSOL), Luiz Lima (PSL) and Bandeira de Mello (Rede) are tied the three keep 3% of the voting intentions. There are 23% of respondents who declare their intention to vote blank or cancel the vote and 5% do not know or prefer not to answer (28% and 7%, respectively, in the survey previously released by the institute).
