Bangladesh: PSC instructions for the 41st BCS exam
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has directed to abide by the health rules for the 41st BCS Preliminary Examination to be held on March 19. The instructions were announced in a PSC press release on Tuesday (March 18).
According to the directive, the preliminary test (MCQ type) of the 41st BCS Examination-2019 will be held simultaneously in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh centers on March 19 from 10 am to 12 noon. Considering the Covid-19 situation, it was specially requested to follow the hygiene rules regarding taking the test.
Instructions to follow:
1) Adequate lighting and ventilation should be ensured for each test.
2) Examiners should arrange for hand washing / hand sanitizer outside the examination hall.
3) Candidates should have the facility of non-contact infrared thermometer to measure body temperature at the time of entry.
4) Each test hall control room must have a mask and disinfectant.
5) All areas including the floor of the educational institution should be cleaned and disinfected.
6) It should be promoted through posters / festoons with the message of observance of hygiene.
6) The waiting crowd must be controlled. In this case, the cooperation of law enforcement can be taken.
6) Water, sanitation and waste management facilities and clean environment should be ensured in educational institutions.
9) Students will enter at a distance of at least 3 feet. If necessary, the place to stand should be specified with a round mark. No candidate can enter without a mask.
10) There should be at least 3 feet distance between 2 examinees in the seating arrangement.
11) Parents should avoid any kind of public gathering outside the examination hall.
PSC has sought the cooperation of all concerned in implementing the directive.
