She contracted the covid-19 a week ago while doing a Marathi TV show 'Ai Maji Kalu Bai'. And if all the participants in the TV show also did corona tests .. everyone got negative. With Covid-19 confirming the optimism, the director and producers packed up for the shoot and all the team members went into the home quarantine. The hopeful who has been receiving covid-19 treatment for days a week has been seriously ill for the past three days. In terms of optimism .. Famous as a Marathi stage actress, she first acted in a Konkani film. After that she entered the Marathi film industry and impressed as a character artist. After that she impressed in the roles of aunt and mother in several TV serials aired in Marathi. Ashalata has acted in over a hundred films in Konkani, Marathi and Hindi films combined.
